1. What kind of programs do you offer?
Due to COVID-19, we offer online tutoring and consultation services only.
2. What kind of qualifications do you have?
Our tutors do not just attend a weekend class or training session on how to teach "the Fancher way", like many franchise and center tutors have. Our tutors are qualified professionals with various degrees and extensive practical experience both inside and outside of the classroom. Meet your tutor.
3. I don't want a stranger in my house and don't want to travel to an office. What are my options?
Remote Sessions may be perfect for you. You will need a webcam, a computer, speakers, and a microphone to get the full benefit of this service. We utilize text messaging, Facebook messenger, and Zoom videoconferencing to make sessions accessible through any internet capable cell phone, tablet, or computer.
4. HOW DO YOU MEASURE SUCCESS?
We feel that the question should be, "How do you, the client, measure success?" Fancher Education is here to help you achieve your goals, not ours. Do you want to raise test scores? Do you want a deeper understanding of a subject? Do you want to develop a particular skill set? We are here for you. You tell us what you want and we will help you get it.
5. How much does this cost? Do you have payment plans or financing available?
Fancher Education has a "no-stress" policy:
No contracts, no loans, no varying costs based on subject or learning needs = no stress.

6. It's hard for me to keep up in school, but I'm not really behind yet. Do I really need a tutor?
As a baby, you learned to roll over. Then you learned to sit up. Eventually you became a toddler, determined to run everywhere. Everything you now know builds on something you learned last week, last month, last year. Everyone faces stumbling blocks in their learning at one time or another. If you continue to fall behind, you may not even finish the race. When you decide to invest in yourself by hiring a professional tutor, we do everything in our power to help you go the distance.
7. Can I write your services off on my taxes?
In general, no.
Unless Fancher Education is picking your child up from school in order to primarily provide child care services (and the tutoring just so happens to take place while they are in our care), you are ineligible to claim the service. According to IRS Publication 503 "Child and Dependent Care Expenses:
"Child and dependent care expenses must be work-related to qualify for the credit. Expenses are considered work-related only if both of the following are true.
1. They allow you (and your spouse if filing jointly) to work or look for work.
2. They are for a qualifying person's care.
Education.
Expenses for a child in nursery school, preschool, or similar programs for children below the level of kindergarten are expenses for care.
Expenses to attend kindergarten or a higher grade are not expenses for care. Do not use these expenses to figure your credit.
However, expenses for before- or after-school care of a child in kindergarten or a higher grade may be expenses for care.
Summer school and tutoring programs are not for care.".

8. I'VE PREPAID SESSIONS, BUT MISSED A FEW. CAN I GET A REFUND? What if I just missed a scheduled session?
When you schedule a session with Fancher Education, you are indicating to us that you are serious about your education. With that indication in mind, we spend time researching your subject and preparing teaching materials and lessons just for you. When a client does not show up, that prep and scheduled time could have gone to another student in need of services. In order to emphasize the importance of punctuality and dedication, as well as to cover the costs of preparation, each missed session is charged a late fee of 1/2 your usual rate. After 2 missed sessions, a new session can be scheduled at the full rate. However, if notice is given a minimum of 24 hours in advance, missed sessions will be rescheduled at no charge. Clients that habitually cancel will be removed from the regular roster and must make appointments on an "availability only" basis.
